Chef de Produit / Product Manager (H/F)

Le groupe Travel Services Business Group est en charge de gerer differentes lignes de produit : croisiere, Ferry, Assurances, Voitures et Trains.

Le chef de produit a pour mission de gerer le cycle du produit en accord avec les differentes lignes de produit.

Activites principales :

Marketing :

- Collecte et redactions des besoins clients

- Elaboration de business cases avec le support des responsables de vente

- Definition du positionnement du produit

- Etude de prix

- Plans de Communication

- Recherche et Etude de nouveaux produits et evolution des produits existants

Support des ventes :

- Demonstrations et Presentations aupres de clients

- Redaction de Reponses a Appel d'Offre

- Participation a des evenements: forum de train, representantion des agents de voyage dans le monde ....

Strategie Produit :

- Identification d'opportunites de lancement de nouveaux produits

- Gestion du business plan et de ses objectifs

- Construction d'un planning et budget en accord avec la strategie d'entreprise

Nous recherchons pour ce poste une personne avec un diplome d'ingenieur, de commerce ou equivalent Bac+5, ayant une experience significative dans le monde du voyage (ferroviaire de preference)et une bonne comprehension du secteur IT.

Une bonne maitrise de l'anglais est obligatoire.

Business Environment

The Travel Services Business Group manages the business of various product lines: Cruise, Ferry, Insurance, Cars and Rail.

The objective of the Rail business unit is to deliver high quality solutions in Distribution and IT globally and locally for the rail industry.

Amadeus Rail is a key contributor to Amadeus success in the business travel industry, particularly in Europe where the growth of high speed is important to our corporate customers.

The rail product line occupies a key position within TBG as it generates substantial revenues and is very close to Amadeus’ core products for airlines. The Unit has recently made an acquisition of an external company specializing in Rail IT and the current post will be working in close cooperation with Rail IT teams in Sydney and Toronto, as well as the distribution teams in Bad Homburg and Nice, to deliver a fully-integrated portfolio of rail distribution and IT products.

Overall Position Objective

The product manager manages and markets product(s) throughout the entire life cycle, with full accountability up to product line P&L. She/he will be working mainly on the high speed rail and conventional rail segments on multi Channels (E-Travel Management, Selling Platform, ….), in order to optimize current rail business and make sure that MKT-GMK-TBG-RAI future product plan matches the business needs of the customers as well as Amadeus’ long term product strategy.

Main Position Activities

Marketing

• Gather product business requirements and write high level product requirement documents

• Establish detailed business cases for decision making, involving all relevant actors (provider, ACO, Erding, Dev …)

• Define product positioning

• Recommend pricing policies for the product

• Support branding study and contribute to communication plan with the marketing manager for Rail

• Identify opportunities for the development of new or enhancement of existing products through market research, third party and competitive analysis and customer/ prospect contacts and feedback

• Build roll out plans for new products or enhancements

• Contribute to the elaboration of the contracts with Sales and liaise with legal when relevant

• Satisfaction survey analysis and corrective actions to optimize product perception

Sales support

• Perform presentations and demonstrations to customers

• Contribute to the writing of RFPs and commercial proposals

• Participate in trade shows and industry events

• Create, maintain and deploy sales and marketing materials

Product strategy

• Identify opportunities for the development of new or enhancement of Amadeus Rail business plan through market research, third party and competitive analysis and customer/ prospect contacts and feedback

• Manage the Business plan and objectives attached to it

• Build Long Term Plan in line with Corporate Strategy

• Define and manage product roadmap and communicate it to other Amadeus entities

Prioritization

• Manage product road map and priorities attached to it and participate to product plan review meetings

Account management

• Build key customer relationship with providers, ACOs, TAs outlining business requirements with a global deployment plan and product strategy.

Finance

• Construction, update and follow up of their product line P&L

• Establish share / growth rates in line with Sales Teams

Education

• Engineer degree, University degree or equiv. qualification

Technical Skills
