Network and Systems Administrator (Hosting Products) (H/F)
| Role: As part of the System Administrator team, your objective will be to manage the Dada.pro platforms in cooperation with various international System Administrators and Programmers. You should be a fast-learner and want to share technological know-how regarding system administration and networks, with the aim of managing similar, complex, cross-country projects in the future. The main objective is to cooperate with various teams to reach 99,998% of overall availability of Dada.pro services. Main duties and responsibilities: •Assist in designing, developing, upgrading, running the documentation of the company’s IT platforms. •Help improve infrastructure monitoring by reporting unmanaged issues and suggesting appropriate solutions. •Propose and implement security improvements. •Develop, upgrade, run and document hosting platforms. •Implement best practices and write procedures and FAQ for company staff and customers. •Provides third level support to customers through the customer care ticketing system. |
| Professional Background: •Technician or higher/upper level technical degree. •Fast, independent, pro-active, able achieve goals in an international, performance-driven organization. •Fluent technical English required. •Driving license mandatory for Data Centre interventions. •Ability to work under pressure. •Desire to learn and share skills with others; aspiration to evolve within the company. |
| Requirements: •LAMP knowledge (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) and/or Windows / Active Directory skills •Knowledge of internet services and protocols: DNS, http, smtp, imap, pop3, ftp… •Firsthand experience in System Administration and deployment is appreciated: Linux and or Windows. •Some experience in programming language; Shell, Perl, Python •Skills in virtualisation products: Virtuozzo, Xen, VMware, Hyper-V will be considered. •Know-how in IPv4 and TCP/IP. •First experience in network infrastructures.
